The Beaumont

London

The brief for the lighting design at The Beaumont - the first hotel by Corbin & King, the London restaurateurs behind The Wolseley and a number of other leading restaurants in the capital – was demanding and complex.

The client had a number of specific requirements including a desire not to use recessed downlights in the public areas and for a scheme that appeared as if designed for the original 1920s Art Deco building, but suitable for a contemporary luxury hotel. In addition we were required to light ROOM, an experiential work of art commissioned from the renowned British sculptor, Sir Antony Gormley.
